New York in the 50s on the streets

We see a mid-century old New York, a man walking on the pavements he is passed by a car. The light comes very clearly from low ahead so it is early morning or late evening. The man walks with a bag and wears a hat. He is probably going or coming from work.This work was made in several steps. First, this work started as a number of photos’which I pasted together in Photoshop. Here I then changed things with pen before converting the work into a halftone/two-tone black and white plate to evoke the feel of old comic books with superheroes.I then turned the result into a tile edit with small tiles and then again with large coloured tiles. The result is what I think is a beautiful effect that evokes an old Pop Art, comic book atmosphere.
