The artwork ‘A glowing Dutch flag’ is a beautiful piece made of glowing dots that make up the Dutch flag. The intensity of the glow has been carefully adjusted to capture the dynamics of a flying flag and the result is truly stunning. As a proud Dutchman, I am very happy with this work and I think it would fit perfectly in a Dutch company or an official Dutch authority abroad. But the work could of course also just hang on the wall of a lover of the Netherlands. The Netherlands is a beautiful country, mainly flat but with a lot of character and diversity. This work shows Dutch society in the form of different dots that together form the flag. It is a beautiful metaphor for Dutch society in which people from different backgrounds and cultures live together and strengthen each other. We value freedom, and the artwork is an invitation to embrace and celebrate the Dutch values of tolerance and freedom. It is a beautiful way to show our pride and connection with our country and to show it to others.
